Hemorrhoid Home Remedy

Saturday, February 14th, 2009

Anyone who is suffering from hemorrhoids knows just how painful and difficult to treat they can be. On top of all that, hemorrhoids are just plain embarrassing to talk about. Many people are even embarrassed to talk with their doctor about hemorrhoids, and try to keep their problem hidden. This causes many people to search for a hemorrhoid home remedy which will allow them to get rid of their hemorrhoids without anyone ever knowing about them.

Fortunately, there ARE ways of getting rid of hemorrhoids at home, without having to tell a doctor or even buy embarrassing hemorrhoid creams from the store.

The first thing you should try if you want to get rid of your hemorrhoids is to make some lifestyle changes. The primary cause of any hemorrhoid is excess pressure on the rectal area, and this pressure is often caused by things such as sitting for prolonged periods of time, or straining when making bowel movements. Making simple changes to your daily habits such as not sitting for more than an hour without getting up and walking around can really help alleviate hemorrhoids symptoms.

Also, make sure you are keeping well hydrated and have enough fiber in your diet. This will allow you to pass bowel movements without as much straining, which also helps lessen the pressure on your rectal area and will help your hemorrhoids reduce in size.

These are just some basic hemorrhoid home remedy tips to help get rid of your hemorrhoids, and while these tips did help me, it took a little more to completely get rid of my hemorrhoids. Click here to find out how I was able to get rid of my hemorrhoids completely using natural methods.

Hemorrhoidal Surgery – Is It Right For You?

Thursday, February 5th, 2009

It’s extremely unpleasant even considering hemorrhoidal surgery, however for some people it is a must. Some people are just not significantly effected by traditional hemorrhoid medications such as creams and pills prescribed by doctors. Surgery is an extremely effective, albeit invasive, procedure that relieves the symptoms of overactive hemorrhoids almost completely.

It’s important that if you are considering hemorrhoid surgery that you get all the facts that you need to understand what is going to happen during the procedure. Don’t count on just your doctor to let you know; you want to be completely informed, and sometimes that means going off on your own to do some research, and the internet is a great resource to do just that.

First of all, how exactly is the surgery performed? When you undergo hemorrhoid surgery, you are given a general anesthetic, or perhaps a different kind depending on your doctor’s own judgement. This way the entire procedure will be pain-free for you. The doctor uses a scalpal or even laser to make an incision where the swollen tissues surround the hemorrhoids. The swollen veins are tied off to stop the bleeding and the formation of your hemorrhoids are removed as quickly and carefully as possible.

Before you even start considering hemorrhoidal surgery, you should talk to at least several different doctors to get a variety of opinions on whether or not you really do need the procedure. You may just not have tried the right product yet, so it’s important to get different views on your own specific condition before you decide definitively on surgery because of its serious and invasive nature that could leave you with many different negative side-effects. Most people who undergo surgery for hemorrhoids have no problems, but you don’t want to have to take any chances with your health.

I personally don’t think hemorrhoidal surgery is ever necessary unless you are in severe pain, because all hemorrhoids are able to be cured using completely natural methods. Click here to learn how I was able to get rid of my hemorrhoids naturally.

Thrombosed Hemorrhoids Treatment

Thursday, February 5th, 2009

When the blood vessels of the rectum and anus become enlarged and stretched, they become what are known as hemorrhoids. Sometimes these hemorrhoids develop blood clots inside and are then known as thrombosed hemorrhoids. Thrombosed hemorrhoids treatment is necessary because this condition is often very tender and can cause pain while walking, sitting, or passing stool.

You can often identify a hemorrhoid that is thrombosed by either the look of it, or how it feels if you touch it. It would appear to be red or purple-ish in color and would feel firm, and be about the size of a pee. Of course the hemorrhoid can vary in size, but this is the average size.

In some cases, the thrombosed hemorrhoid will simply shrink and go away over time. Treatment for minor thrombosed hemorrhoids is normally no different than treatment for any other type of hemorrhoid. However if you are experiencing a more severe degree of pain, then you may not be able to wait long enough to see if the hemorrhoid will go away on it’s own.

There are surgical methods of removing thrombosed hemorrhoids, if necessary. A doctor would be able to go in surgically and remove either the blood clot or the entire hemorrhoid. If the hemorrhoid has been thrombosed for a very long time, however, then the pain from the surgery may actually be greater than the pain you would endure from simply letting the hemorrhoid shrink on it’s own by using other treatment methods.

I don’t think surgery is necessary unless you are under extreme pain and require urgent care, and the reason I believe this is because all hemorrhoids are able to be cured using completely natural methods. Natural thrombosed hemorrhoids treatment is possible for anyone. I know because I was able to naturally treat my own hemorrhoids. Click here to learn how I treated my hemorrhoids naturally.

Hemorrhoids And Pregnancy – What Is The Connection?

Wednesday, February 4th, 2009

Pregnant women have no shortage of things to worry about, and it doesn’t help matters that hemorrhoids and pregnancy often go hand in hand. While hemorrhoids are very common amongst the general population (nearly 50% of adults get them at some point) they are especially common during pregnancy.

Hemorrhoids are common during pregnancy because carrying the baby puts extra pressure on the rectal area, and pressure on that area is the primary cause of hemorrhoids in anyone. Fortunately, hemorrhoid symptoms normnally improve after the baby is born, but until then there are some things you can do to help alleviate your symptoms.

One thing you can do is to avoid sitting for long periods of time. Sitting puts pressure on the rectal area and as I said above, this is the primary cause of hemorrhoids. Try to get up and move around for a few minutes at least once every hour, and at home you can lie down instead of sitting whenever possible.

You can also try making some simple changes to your diet, such as drinking more water and consuming more fiber. This will allow you to pass your bowel movements more easily and with less strain placed on the rectal area. This should help to reduce swelling of your hemorrhoids and cause them to shrink over time. Getting regular exercise also help to keep your bowel movements regular, and avoid constipation.

So while hemorrhoids and pregnancy often go together, there are ways of eliminating your hemorrhoids. I was able to cure my hemorrhoids naturally, and they have never returned. Click here to discover how I cured my hemorrhoids naturally.
