at what point should you go to the doctor over external hemorrhoids?

i’m 27 years old, and I feel that I am too young to have hemorrhoids. I’ve tried changing diet, eating fiber, drinking lots of water and still get them. Don’t older people usually get them? Once you get them, are you always going to be prone to more outbreaks?

You would be surprised how many teens get them. I got them in my early teens. It can be caused by lack of exercise and poor diet as well as other things. Im 40 now, still have problems on and off, my doc told me to take 30 grams of fiber every day. He said everyone should take that much and that is a lot of fiber. Go to your doctor, there is much they can do about them.

well go to your doctor and these can be taken care of and they may need to be removed. at 27 you are not too young but don’t ignore this. The common causes of hemrrhoids is actually not exercising and sitting most of the day. This allows blood to pool in the external anal veins and cause this swelling. Go exercise, don’t sit too much unless you have to and have them treated.

You aren’t to young to have them. Google Hemorrhoids and get a lot of inf. You should see a Doctor if they bleed a lot.
Try Anusol or Preperation H. You can also put vasoline on your finger and put them back up. It will hurt a lot but you can do it. Then use something like Tucks pads.
No you aren’t going to be prone to outbreaks. You need to get enough fiber in your diet and you need to drink enough fluids too.
I have done all these things and they work.
    Good luck.

It varies all over the lot. The swelling is caused by a blood clot in the hemorrhoid vein; it is a simple office procedure to open the vein and yank out the clot, and you can do this if it gets obnoxious. In the meantime, try dosing on aspirin (the maximum dose recommended on the bottle); aspirin is noted for its anti-clotting properties and can be helpful.

Hemorrhoids can develop at any age. Constipation is not the only cause of hemorrhoids. Are you overweight? Are you sitting or standing for many hours a day which can cause pressure on the veins in the rectal area? Maybe you have acid/alkaline imbalance (body pH), fatigue liver, colitis, IBS, Vitamin B6 deficiency?
To test your body pH you can get strips in your local pharmacy or online and in case it turns that your body has a pH under 7.2 it is causing weak veins (and many other things) and you have to alkaline it. Great cost effective stuff is colloidal silver.
As for hemorrhoids try Rue Care Oil – it makes miracles.
