OUCH!! Sounds like a thrombosed external hemorrhoid!! If it’s that bad, you need to be referred to a colon-rectal specialist and have it ligated via surgery (you’d get a spinal block) or have an in-office laser treatment. Be forewarned though, if you were to have this done at 36 weeks, there is a good chance they’d schedule you for a C-section at 38+ weeks to avoid damage done to the rectal area during a vaginal birth.

probably not but rest assured.:as soon as the baby is born, the pressure down there will be gone and your body will heal eaiser.

He def. won’t induce labor due to this – sorry but its not a medical reason

i don’t think they will induce you but i would call and let them know how severe it is so they can take care of it

He won’t induce because of this. I’m also 36 weeks preggers and I had to fight that battle often too. Like you I had to wear pads but my doc gave me specialized wipes and suppositories and i havent had much trouble on that issue since. Hope you recover fast! D-Day is right around the corner for us!
