Can a 5 year old get hemorrhoids?
I was giving my son a bath and when I went to go clean his but it hurt him, so I took a look and he had a bump on the outside of his bum hole….almost looked like it could be a skin tag, but I am scared it could be hemorrhoids, Can kids get them at such a young age??? I am going to be taking him to the doctor, but any and all answers would be helpful.

Yes children can possibly get them. Since constipation or diarrhea are leading causes of hemorrhoids and children are also susceptible to these conditions, then they can’t be exempted from having this type of discomfort. It would be best to take him to the doctor just to be sure.

yeah it can occur to young children, better take him to a doctor.. the guy above me is a "perv"
