Can internal hemorrhoids ever 'go away' or get better?

I’ve had them for years, but due to developing I
BS in my senior years, they really are bothering me more. I’ve kept them under control (so far) with medicated wipes, suppositories, and creams. Some days though, like today, after several trips to the bathroom, they are giving me more discomfort. Then I’ll be ok for several days. Can one just ‘tolerate them’ for life or do they always have to have surgery in time? thanks–yanksgirl

  1. Make sure that you tell your doctor about this.
Use TUCKS wipes after you move your bowels that helps with the hemorrhoids. The cream helps cools it. Of course th suppositories work too. Most importantly is to eat fiber in your diet which makes you go easier too, and fiber pills one in the morning and one a night works too.

For life, if you take care of your body with fiber, and not let the bowels get hard, then you will be fine if you take care of it, but hemorrhoids are a lifetime thing.

Surgery is the last resort for bad hemorrhoids.

  2. Being that you’ve had them for years, it looks like surgery is the next step. Don’t worry, it’s not that bad.
