Could it be a hemorrhoid?
…It’s sort of embarressing but just recently I noticed like a swollen line or tab on the outside of my anus. I had bleeding before it really appeared and now its just red and irritated and is sometimes painful. I can’t find anything that looks like what I’ve got but when I approached my mother she told me not to worry, I can’t help but worry though and i’m not sure what it is. help!

Without a visual exam, there is no way to know for sure if what you have is a hemorrhoid. Please ask your mom to schedule a doctor appointment for you. Just be honest with her about how worried you are.
However, it is very possible that it is a hemorrhoid since you mentioned bleeding, redness, occasional pain and a protrusion. It would be best though to see your doctor for verification.
