Dear God, Is this a hemorrhoid or no?
I have this small, hard, pebble-like knot right on the inside of my anus. It is very painful and it feels like a lil marble or something. I have gotten this once before when I was a teenager and it happened on my lower anus and it left a kinda deflated flappy piece of anal skin when it finally went away. This one is on the upper portion of my anus and I just noticed it in the shower. What is

You should see a doctor to get it checked out. If you are embarrassed about going to your doctor or your regular family doctor, you can pick another doctor or see a female doctor who is the same sex as you. It may be something serious or it might not be but it is best to get medical advice and treatment as early as possible.
