Do all pregnant women get hemorrhoids?

I have not strained once to poop this entire pregnancy and I’m just wondering if all pregnant women get hemorrhoids, or do they come from straining only? 25 weeks preggo

Hemorrhoids are common during pregnancy, but not everyone gets them, luckily I haven’t gotten them, but friends of mine have. Eating food w/ alot of fiber, drinking lots of fluids and exercise can all help avoid these! Good luck!

NO! Thank God. However, some women don’t get them during the pregnancy, but during labor.

i did not with the first one…with the second one yes. i have now idea i did have trouble pooping with the second so maybe that is what caused them.

Nope. I never had them. Neither did my Mom (who had 6 kids).

Straining is the most common reason, but sometimes, it’s a genetic thing.

No, not all women— and even those that do, not necessarily all pregnancies. But they surely are more common while pregnant! Keep your diet full of fiber and fluids— lotsa greens and salad everyday, whole grains only, and drink a quart of water each day.
As strange as it may seem to you, squatting on the toilet instead of sitting really helps. It is nature’s position for both defecating and childbirth— It helps to open things up and avoid unnatural pressure on the veins down there (which is what causes hemorrhoids) Sitting down to poop is very unnatural (even though I do it!) If squatting with your feet on the toilet seat is too weird for you, try to at least raise your knees up by elevating your feet .
We "civilized" folks do our bodies so much harm! People eating natural diets and squatting behind a tree never have hemorrhoids (dysentery and other diseases, yes, if they don’t bury it properly! )
Best of luck with the pregnancy! Enjoy every minute of it— and the hem. usually go away after you deliver.

No not all do. I hope for your sake you don’t get them. I got them when I was about 35 weeks along. I gave birth 4 months ago and still have them!! I had a big baby that was down low for 2 months, all that pressure gave them to me. Good luck to you!!

Hemorrhoids are very common during pregnancy. Hemorrhoids are caused due to too much pressure put on the veins in the rectal area.
This can be from constipation (straining during bowel movement), pregnancy, overweight, overeating, acid/alkaline imbalance, Vitamin B6 deficiency, fatigue liver.
