Do I have a hemorrhoid?
For the past few days, I have had a sharp pain in my… rectal area. When I tried to find out what was causing it, I noticed a small whitish bump near the top of the opening. Is this a hemorrhoid? I’m only 20, and I didn’t think people could get hemorrhoids before their 30′s.
Obviously, if it doesn’t go away, I’ll have to see a doctor, but does anyone know any ways to get rid of it at home? Is it even a hemorrhoid?

It sounds more like an abscess. Hemorrhoids don’t typically have a whitish bump atop them. Either way try warm compressions and keep the area clean.
