Do I need to get my hemorrhoids surgically treated?
I’ve heard different people saying different things. I’m leaving for college in just a few days and I just came down with a hemorrhoid. I’ve been using Preperation H on it since I noticed it last night, but is that really going to make it go away or will I need to have it cut off??

Give it some time. Chances are it will subside on its own. Just keep the pain and swelling down as much as you can.

My ex-husband had the surgery…they came back within 2 years. It isn’t worth the pain.

First of al hemorrhoids are formed with extreme pushing or constipation. You will need to eat more fiber or cereals and try drinking lots of water to help the nature flow of things happen more naturally and not be pushing too much to cause the hemorrhoids. I recommend you look for over the counter medicine you can buy in Mexicali that is specially made to help the swelling go back to normal. Try that first a good fiber diet, water and you will be back to normal in no time. Good luck

keep using preperation H, and if in a few months that doesnt work then go see a doctor about it. it should take awhile for them to deflate

chances are, time will heal them. My brother had a hemorrhoid problem and found a natural way to get rid of them. http://www.easyhemorrhoidtreatment.com also has some great information on them. Generally, surgery and over the counter medications work but they also re-flare so really there’s no way around it. They need to heal naturally eventually.
Good luck!

I was in a similar situation, but determined to avoid surgery at all costs. Did a lot of research on the net and found a product that worked great for me,
I have gone all the way with these steps:
- I tried Witch Hazel medicated pads and failed.
- I tried “Preparation H” – but I was forced to stop.
- Then I found something that worked and avoided surgery!
I started using the techniques described http://www.anonlineproductreview.com/go/YHemCure/
and they worked! The results weren’t "instant" but after a week or so a few things really started to get better.
