embarrassing hemorrhoid question?

I had a babygirl 3 months ago and she is the most precious gift ever, but everybody who’s had a baby knows that sometimes embarrassing things happen to your body, and so I was wondering how can you tell if you have a hemorrhoid?

How do you get them and what are the symptoms if you do have one? If it is one, can you buy anything good at walmart or somewhere to help with the discomfort?

Wow, I am in the same boat as you! My baby is 3 months old now and Ive developed a hemorrhoid or maybe it was there all along since I gave birth. A few weeks ago I guess I was constipated and it caused hemorrhoid to bleed. The doc said they are basically varicose veins caused from the pregnancy and the all the pushing during delivery. My doctor told me to take Colace (stool softener) and to eat lots of fiber and it worked!
The trick is to take the stool softeners to give yourself a chance to heal. Basically avoid being constipated as much as possible!

    Heya.
Hemorrhoid’s are allot more common than we think.. Its just a part of life after having a baby lol.
The main symptoms is the pain when you are going poos.. and blood when you wipe or even in your poos.
We don’t have a walmart here.. but i know the pharmacy has stuff to relieve the discomfort of hemorrhoids.
Eat plenty of fruit / fiber… Prunes are good too as it will soften your stools that are probably causing your hemorrhoids.
    Goodluck.

You will know you have one because you will be really itchy and it will probably hurt when you have a bowl movement.

A hemorrhoid is broken blood vessels so it wil be like a bubble of skin. Good for you the ones you get from pregnancy are usually the kind that go away.

What you can do to stay comfortable is make sure that you clean very well after a bm use moist wipes. And you can get some Tucks. That you can tuck in there to make the itching go away. You can buy them at walmart or pretty much and grocery or drug store.

When I had them right after I had my son it was an all around uncomfortable feeling, especially when I tried to go to the bathroom(#2). It felt like glass was stabbing me in that area. Tucks pads definitely helped me!
