girl hemorrhoid question (serious answers only please!)?
I have had like 2 hemorrhoids ever and have never used cream or anything on them. I have a hemorrhoid semi near the seperation between my anus and vagina, I was wondering if the cream will irritate or give my vagina an infection if it gets in or near it? I’m really nervous! Thanks so much for the help!

The cream will not hurt you. Try to get most of it on the hemorrhoid, but it won’t cause any harm.

hmm, i would see a GI doctor to make sure its not an anal fisher or something of that matter.

I would talk to your doctor about which hemorrhoid cream to use so that you won’t irritate your vag… I’ve never had this problem but the doctor probably knows more about that than anyone on here.

im pretty sure that the the cream wuldnt irrtiate, or infect ur vagina……. read the cream, and make sure.. but im almost 98% sure it wont

Next time you are in the pharmacy, read the medication box and/or ask the pharmacist.

if there really bad you should see your doctor theyll give you something, if they check for you sometimes you need an op on them but not always. i got them bad after having my kids but they go away on there own even if it takes weeks. sore and uncomfortable i know, bathing in savlon or lavender helped.

It was my understanding that a hemorrhoid is a tear in the soft tissue of the rectum. I would think that the current location of the irritation you described points away from the possibility of it being a hemorrhoid and you should go to a doctor to get properly diagnosed. And yes keep that cream and all other ointments away from the vaginal area entirely unless it was made specifically for that area.

I would try this option first. I had hemorrhoids and decided to get surgery. It was painful and I was off work for about a week. After six months or so they returned.
