The number one thing they find are polyps. Some are benign, some are pre-cancerous, and some are cancerous.

Yes, they come back. That’s why once a person has polyps removed from their colon, they have to return every 2 to 3 years to have another colonoscopy so that they can continue to be removed. Benign and pre-cancerous polyps are nothing to be concerned about (unless you fail to get your regular follow up colonoscopy every few years). They take a loooong time to become cancerous, and once they do, the patient has real problems.

You should consider a stool softener to minimize aggravating hemorrhoids, because again once you start aggravating that tissue, it tends to become aggravated.

You might want to consider taking something like Senna, a "natural laxative" whatever that means. Laxatives aren’t natural.

And drinking more water and fiber can’t hurt, like Metamucil or some other product.
