Help! Hemorrhoid or cancer…??
A few days ago, I suddenly felt as though when I went to the bathroom, some stool had been stuck and that I could not pass it. Last night, I discovered a small tender lump near my anal cavity. It isn’t painful or itchy, although it does feel like there is persistent pressure in my anus and gets uncomfortable to sit on. I had a relative take a look, and he said that it was a hemorrhoid (he also said that it looked irritated and somewhat reddish-purple).
I am experiencing a little constipation – I am able to go, but the stools are soft. There has NOT been any blood or mucus in the stool or after wiping, nor have I experienced any abdominal nor rectal pain other than some irritation from wiping the area. These symptoms have only been going on for about 3 or 4 days
Could this be a tumor or cancer, or is it only a hemorrhoid? I am 21 years old and female.
I think I’m experiencing some minor itching…

The last symptom you mentioned itching, gave it away..hemorrhoids are engorged veins in your anus. Because they are collections of blood, itching is very prevalent. Preparation H is a good place to start with helping you out. You might want to add more fibre to your diet to be sure you stay regular. They are caused by straining with constipation….also childbirth (for obvious reasons). Preparation H is not only good for the itching but it will shrink the tissues. If you want another suggestion, Witch hazel hot packs are great to reduce the hemorrhoid. If this becomes a on-going problem for you, you might think about going to see a proctologist.

sounds lika a hemorrhoid, my ex had them and he used to put cool compresses and he said they worked. good luck.
