Hemorrhoid and I'm 13?

I’m 13 and i’ve got what seems to be a hemorrhoid. It’s not too bad, it doesn’t bleed or anything, i just feel it when i wipe. As long as I eat more fiber and take better care of myself, is there really any need to see a doctor about it? Because it’s embarrassing.

    Hi there!

Continue eating fruits and veggies rich in fiber. Also drink lots of water to add help. If you feel unbearable pain and discomfort, you can seek advise.

For more information read the link below. It’s really a great help.

Unless they bleed all the time, you do not need to see a doctor about these and can treat them yourself. You need to go to WebMd.com and type in hemorrhoids on advice for the care of hemorrhoids. Then, on the same website, you need to type in constipation which is the main cause of hemorrhoids and change your diet so that you won’t continue to have problems with this.

not unless it effects the way you live your life. As long as it goes away you are fine, but if it is still there for a longer period of time, then you will have to see a doctor. always make sure to have some fiber in your diet and this will be a rare occurrence.

Hemorrhoids do not normally occur in someone so young. If you have strained yourself during bowel movements, you may have caused a vein near your anus to swell. You are lucky there is no sign of blood as bloody hemorrhoids are very painful. Some OTC hemorrhoid creams can shrink the hemorrhoid somewhat , but you may need to see a doctor if the condition gets worse.

Your on the right track with eating more fibre and drinking more water. Make sure you also use damp tissue paper to wipe the anus to prevent causing any further irritation.
