hemorrhoid would not go away?
I had this hemorrhoid about 3 weeks ago, it was my first hemorrhoid and at first, it was really painful. I used a cream and wet wipes, and now it’s not painful anymore, and it’s less bigger but I still have it and it’s been 3 weeks. Is it going to stay there, or is it going to disappear by its own, if yes, how long will it take?

I had a haemorrhoid that lasted about a month. I made sure to drink a lot of water and eat a lot of carbs.

Hemorrhoid’s can stay forever. They will stay small unless you have a hard stool or diarrhea that irritates it, and makes it flare up. Some hemorrhoids go away on there own so t heres really no tellin. If you st art getting lots of blood in your stool then go to the ER, or if you get constipated for too long go to the ER. Hemorrhoids can cause both conditions. I’d keep those wet wipes (Tucks) and cream (preparation H) handy in case you need them again.

I use tucks suppositories. They reduce the swelling better than the wipes. It concentrates the medicine in one place longer. If the swelling doesn’t go down, you should go see a md. Don’t be paranoid about surgery so much that you don’t go see a md. They might have stronger meds or may prescribe a stool softner to help. Or you can take vitamin E. It works nicely for stool softening.
