Firstly, congrats for becoming a mommy soon :)

What you are describing sounds like one of the symptoms of hemorrhoids, but as any doctor will tell you, there are some other conditions that have the same symptoms so its hard to tell if you indeed have hemorrhoids.

Statistically speaking, most women have hemorrhoids during their pregnancy and in most cases they go away a short time after childbirth. This might be your case, but only a doctor could tell for sure.

In general hemorrhoids are not life threatening at all, they just cause discomfort, so you should not worry too much about it…in fact it’s better for the baby if you’re as happy as can be :)

Usually the symptoms go away after a few days, but if they persist you should definitely do a check up. Also, look for other related symptoms that might indicate the presence of a hemorrhoid: anal bleeding or swellings.

you would probably have blood in your stool if you had a hemorrhoid. but you should call your doctor and ask.

    hi,

    according to wikipedia saying:
"Many anorectal problems, including fissures, fistulae, abscesses, anal melanoma or irritation and itching, also called pruritus ani, have similar symptoms and are incorrectly referred to as hemorrhoids."

i would suggest you to go and see family doctor.
