Hemorrhoid(s) or something else?

I’ve never had hemorrhoids before, so I can’t say for sure what I have. Everything leads up to hemorrhoids- pain (the feeling as though a sharp object is passing though the anus), bleeding, etc. However, I heard that hemorrhoids go away in a matter of days, and I’ve had this for three weeks straight. It seems to get more painful everytime I pass stool. Advice?

Hemorrhoids are actually blood clots that form inside and outside the rectum usually caused from straining when trying to have a bowel movement or after child birth. The best thing you could do is sit in a bath as hot as you can stand it to sooth and shrink the hemorrhoids if they are outside. If they are inside get over the counter creme. They will also itch as they begin to heal. They also sell Tucks hemorrhoids pads that are colling to ease the itch if they are outside. Hope this helps.

Rarely hemorrhoids just go away, and if you have them for 3 weeks you need a good treatment. Something like Rue Care Oil. Furthermore, pay attention to have regular and soft bowel movement by eating lots of fruits and vegetables and drink water (not soda etc. but water!)
