how do i get rid of a hemorrhoid?
Im 15 and a girl. I recently found out i have a hemorrhoid. I told my mom who’s a nurse. and she told me to eat lots of fiber and drink lots of water. But i looked at sites who posted other home remedies to help reduce the size and make it go away. And im not sure what to follow i have been drinking water and eating fiber. But i haven’t seen any changes yet. Can anyone give me advice please.

You can buy cream to rub on it to help make it go away. It’s cheap, buy it at Walmart or Target.

Hi, You should continue eating fibre and drinking water as this will help long term. Another good way to get quick relief is to have a sitz bath. You just add some sea salt to a hot bath and sit in it for 10-15 minutes a couple of times a day. You will notice a change pretty quickly.
Hemorrhoids normally start because of a poor diet, and some level of constipation. This means that if you struggle to empty your bowels, the strain can lead to hemorrhoids.
Apart from eating lots of fibre you can also try a laxative which help you to empty your bowels more easily, and with less strain.

You want real advice? Go see a doctor. It’s not that hard. He/she will probably give you some Preparation H or some ointment.
