How do I know if it’s hemorrhoids or something else?
I had a bowel movement this morning, and the toilet was COVERED in bright red blood. I am only 6 weeks pregnant and have never experienced hemorrhoids before. I thought that it was just a little bit of blood when you have hemorrhoids. Also, not severe pain, but a little uncomfortable. Could it be more serious? I have a call into my doctors and have not gotten a call back yet =/

Where did the blood come from? Yes it’s supposed to be a little bit only. Go to the hospital!

if you had piles and one burst then that could cause more blood that just a pile and if your sure its not from your vagina and its bright red then its probably something the doctor can sort easily however, keep phoning them and you will get a respose,

Well I had some blood in my stool the past two days but its on a little. If you doctor doesn’t call back today I would call them first thing in the morning. I would say that if they don’t get back to you then they must not think anything is wrong.

You should rush to the emergency room. Hemorrhoids will only produce a little bit of blood and hurt when they pop. For your baby’s sake, go to the emergency room. I hope you’re not reading this and are already there. Good luck.

I don’t want to spook you, but I never experienced hemorrhoids that heavy. They are unpleasant, but certainly not severe pain. If the symptom repeats itself, you really should see a physician fast. Just in case, better take another pregnancy test, as well.

Pregnancy can greatly cause hemorrhoids. When you are pregnant, there is an increased pressure in the blood flow in the rectal area nad you are prone to constipation which makes you susceptible to hemorrhoids. I think you should see doctor immediately to help you with your condition.
