hi, you can ask your friend to relieve pain and discomfort caused by external hemorrhoids include:

    1) Sitz baths with lukewarm water several times daily for about 10-15 minutes. After the bath tub sitting, the affected area should be dried gently with a clean towel in order to remove wetness from the area. When the affected area is left wet, this would cause an adverse effect – the hemorrhoids would get enlarged and more painful
    2) Ice packs applied and withdrawn carefully reduce pain and swelling. 3) Application of hemorroidal suppositories alleviates discomfort and pain significantly.
    4) Hemorroidal creams, cortisone creams, Vaseline and petroleum jelly would bring an instant improvement of the external hemorrhoids.
    5) Wearing loose underwear is a must. The fabric of the garments should be of natural origin, preferably cotton or silk.
    6) Cleaning the affected area after bowel movement by a gentle use of wet wipes helps control the itching and irritation of the anus.
    7) Taking aspirin or panadol relieves the pain temporarily.

It might not be infected. Hemorrhoids are red, large, and painful by definition. They protrude from the actual anus and are swollen blood vessels, I have never heard of one being "infected", they only get inflamed as far as I know. There are many over the counter remedies at the drug store, and the same thing would be recommended if you did go to the doctor. Emergencies that can’t wait: large amount of blood in the toilet,or thick black stools. Also make sure to increase water intake and fiber intake to prevent further irritation while going to the bathroom.

take her to a hospital where they can treat her any infection left untreated can lead to other complications like sepsis(blood poisoning)
she should be on antibiotics and they may give her a cream and some pain medication. I hope she gets better Blessed Be.

There are a couple of home remedies that your friend can try and they don’t cost a lot of money. Taking a warm bath or a sitz bath is a great way to relive some of the symptoms of hemorrhoids. Also applying ice to the area can help to shrink the hemorrhoid. Some other home cures for hemorrhoids include taking natural herbs. Two of the best natural herbs include Witch Hazel and Butcher’s Broom. These herbs help to relieve swelling.

    Hey,

Well, for starters she should make sure she increase her fiber intake as this will make stools easier to pass. She should also ensure she is drinking AT LEAST 2 litre of water per day as this has many health benefits, one being that your metabolism will increase.

Moderate exercise is a good step as well, if it hurts however ddont do it as you may agrevate the situation.

You might want to consider looking into home hemorrhoid cures as these detail a lot of simple things you can do to cure hemorrhoids naturally without seeing a doctor…otherwise, sit out the 2 months then see your doctor.

    Hope this helps,

    Heather-Jane

I find Preparation H or Witch Hazel will get rid of minor cases of Hemorrhoids. If you’ve got a severe case it’ll reduce pain and irritation. But these treatments and other treatments simply didn’t work well enough for me. They didn’t get to the root cause of the problem! But I got lucky when I found something online from a former Hemorrhoid sufferer. Holly’s free email course is at http://www.hemorrhoidcurein48hours.com

hey.. hemorrhoid are also knw as piles, are basically varicose veins that swell up to form a mass of tissue around the anus. They cause a lot of discomfort and pain when not treated early enough.
as long as it concern the treatment.. u definatly need to take ur friend to the doctor… and if thats not possible due to any reason.. there are few things which can be done in home to prevent it for sometime.. like

    a) Prevent constipation. Frequent passing of hard feces stresses the anal muscles and cause hemorrhoids or worsen one if you already have it. Maintain a fiber-rich diet and drink plenty of liquids to soften the feces and make passing easy. Dietary supplements rich in fiber such as plantain and Psyllium seed husks or supplements with mild laxatives like lactulose can soften feces so the large intestines can pass them easily.

    b) Topical application of astringents like witch hazel and soothing creams with corticosteroids such as Proctosedyl and Anugesic-HC, can relieve and shrink piles.

and there is also a website u might want to try.. they have many manyy success stories.. and it helped many people! you might wanna give it a try too.. they are even offering Free book about alternative remedies for this problem.. have a look at it.. it might help you too.
