how do you get rid of hemorrhoids?
i just had a baby 7 weeks ago and i think that i have a hemorrhoid from my delivery. When i use the bathroom, which has only been about three time in the past 7 weeks, it bleeds allot. and it is painful. so my question is can you get rid of them or do they stay for ever?

Apparently, they can keep coming back. My husband was told to increase the fiber in his diet to help them from coming back.

use some hemorrhoid cream. it will cause it to be less swollen. then lube up your fingers, and push it back where it belongs.

they are there forever but they only come when you put stress on your body when you go to the bathroom. you can use cream to make it go down and ‘go away’ but it will always be there forever. it just comes when u strain yourself

According to the following website:
http://content.nhiondemand.com/psv/HC1.a...
"Hemorrhoids are dilated or enlarged veins in the area of the anal canal. Sometimes hemorrhoids are referred to as piles. This swelling of tissue can be classified as internal or external depending upon the exact location of the area that is affected. Hemorrhoids are further classified as either prolapsing (external) or non-prolapsing (internal).
Both types of hemorrhoids are very common and may be associated with straining at stool, pregnancy, or with cirrhosis. When internal hemorrhoids enlarge, they are generally not associated with pain. The most common complaint is bright red blood on the toilet tissue or coating the stool, and the individual may have a vague feeling of anal discomfort. It is not until an internal hemorrhoid is thrombosed, infected, or when there has been erosion of the mucosal surface that pain is a feature.
Internal hemorrhoids may be classified additionally by degree of severity. First-degree internal hemorrhoids enlarge but do not prolapse.(1) Second-degree hemorrhoids bleed and prolapse with defecation, but return spontaneously.(2) Third-degree hemorrhoids prolapse with each bowel movement and sometimes with exertion related to work or simply when standing. They can be replaced with manual manipulation.(3) Fourth-degree hemorrhoids prolapse with profuse bleeding, and great pain.(4) When prolapse is not treated, hemorrhoids will usually becomes chronic as the tissue stays stretched.
Most treatment is conservative, such as sitz baths or other forms of moist heat, suppositories (such as Preparation H), stool softeners, and bed rest. Permanently prolapsed hemorrhoids are best treated surgically, with milder degrees of prolapse being treated by banding or injection of with a drug which the physician recommends. External hemorrhoids that become acutely thrombosed are treated by incision, extraction of the clot, and compression of the incised area following clot removal."
I would try some of the treatments listed above, especially the Preparation H (or store brand). I’ve had them and the PH works fine. If they still bother you after a reasonable amount of time, then go to the doctor.

For immediate relief and improvement in symptoms, you can try witch hazel pads or Preparation H or some of the available hemorrhoid products online like Venapro or Hemotrol. But to shrink your hemorrhoids down to where they used to be, you’ll definitely have to incorporate some lifestyle changes, such as: getting more fiber into your diet and drinking plenty of water (fiber needs water to do it’s job), getting more exercise, not standing or sitting for more than an hour at a time (get up for 5 minutes for every hour you sit and vice versa).
When you have enlarged hemorrhoids, they either put pressure on the rectum walls or cause pressure on the hemorrhoids during a bowel movement (which, unless there’s another cause, is probably why you’ve experienced the bleeding). Some of those products, like the ones I mentioned above, claim to shrink your hemorrhoids, but even if they do, it can be a pretty expensive process with you buying several months worth of bottles to see results which can still run into the hundreds of dollars. You might have a better, and less expensive, alternative in turning to lifestyle changes and some home remedies like the ones in H-Miracle Cure, which has a lot of ‘cures’ based on Chinese herbal medicine and a step-by-step action plan to shrinking your hemorrhoids.
