hemorrioids are painful swellings in and outside the anus they look like red grapes on the outside of the anus pooing is agony.
herpes are painful blisters that pop after 24 hours leaving a sore/ulcer on the genitals these can very itchty intense and take about a week to clear up if on dry area they will scab over.you may also feel flu like when having an attack of herpes.

Herpes would be all over you, not just on the anus. They would burn and itch. Hemorrhoids on located on the anus. They are uncomfortable.

Both can present similar symptoms. Even a doctor will likely not be able to diagnose with 100% certainty without taking a swab in the area in question and sending it to the lab. Unfortunately, the test can come back as a false-negative if live virus was no longer present/viable for culture. The best way to know is to go to the doctor for a culture the moment you feel the symptoms as there is more virus present at the beginning of an outbreak.
