The doctor doesn’t treat hemorrhoids, they only per scribe the meds, you treat them unless surgery is warranted and that’s not possible unless they’re very bad.
Go to Walmart and get a tube of Preparation H and also a box of suppositories, make sure the prep H is the ointment not the cream.
When you have a bowel movement then wash real good down there, medicate with the prep H and at night use the suppositories. Every time you dump, use the prep H.
Your diet Has about 90% to do with this. Stay away from things like pop-corn, peanuts, spicy foods, hard to digest foods. Wash every time you dump, use the prep H until they’re gone, the suppositories at night.

Medicated pads containing witch hazel (Tucks®) is a popular over-the-counter treatment especially for the itching, burning and skin irritation. Another popular non prescription medication is Preparation H® which contains phenylephrine, 0.25%, a vasoconstrictor that makes the veins smaller.
There are some natural, herbal creams that may also be effective. In addition, they may prescribe various creams or suppositories containing pharmaceutical ingredients that not only relieve the pain (usually using steroids), but also that have direct action on the dilated veins. Various components have been reported such as nitroglycerin paste (2), calcium dobesilate with steroid and local anesthetic (3) and even a standardized leech extract (4). The mainstay of treatment however is a topical preparation usually containing steroid and local anesthetic.
Surgical treatment is usually reserved for large hemorrhoids, chronic anal fissures or perirectal abscesses (5). Surgical treatment can include banding of the veins, surgical excision, laser or electrocautery and even injection of the veins with sclerosing agents that scar shut the hemorrhoid.

change your lifestyle. eat more fiber, drink a couple of glasses of warm water first thing in the morning. (it helps to soften the stool) The doctors believe in surgery to remove problems, but there are easier less painful, less expensive, and more effective ways to change things.
