How long will it take to shrink my hemorrhoid?

It is the size of a baby’s toe, and it kills. I use prep-H 5 times a day and rest in bed. How long will it take to shrink and lose painfulness?

  1. Oh yes - nasty things, aren’t they. Baby’s toe is pretty big. At least it’s external.

If you read the ingredients on Prep-H, you’ll see Witch Hazel. So what you need is Witch Hazel which costs nearly nothing and don’t bother with Prep-H which is pretty worthless.

Wash your busted butthole with Witch Hazel - it’s got an herb in it called "Hamammalus" (I think) which is an astringent - it shrinks things. So use a lot of it - it’s cheap. Put it on toilet paper and wash the area. Then put it on a tiny bit of toilet paper and stick it up next to the busted butthole and keep it there. So keep as much Witch Hazel on this thing as you can all the time.

Also - you can go and find a doctor (they call them Rear Admirals) who will just touch the hemorrhoid with a very sharp scalpel - you can hardly feel it - and boom - the insides come out of the hemorrhoid - instant relief.

If you want to avoid further hemorrhoids, lift carefully - DO NOT close your throat and push like people do on the toilet. This is called "The Valsalva Maneuver" or "forced expiration against a closed glottus". This raises the blood pressure sharply - and all that blood pressure is dropped onto the hemerhoidal veins - and they BREAK!! And then you get a clot - and the clot is a hemerhoid. So don’t do that.

Get more fiber in your diet - take some Metamucil from the store - eat more salad - think good thoughts - be nice to animals and it might not happen anymore. But first go buy some Witch Hazel - this time the cheap fix is the way to go!

  2. Go to the drug store and get the highest percentage of hydrocortisone cream you can find. I found 2% the other day. The kind they prescribe is 2.5%, so 2% is decent. Then go to the dental section and get some oragel. That has lidocaine and will numb the area. Apply both of them to the area and it should numb it and help with the swelling. You can also apply some pressure directly on the hemorrhoid. That helps to disperse the clot. You should be better tomorrow.

You can also go to the doctor and they can take care of it in the office.

  3. I and my son have had these. Get Peperation H. Also, try not to sit as long when you go #2 on the toilet seat. This is very bad for them. Also, this is a must: take warm baths 2-3 times a day. The warm water will really help them. It may take a while, but these worked on the both of us! You should be fine. My sons took about 1 week or so but all of the above worked.
