How to get rid of Hemorrhoid?

I’ve had an external hemorrhoid for 2-3 months. When I have a bowel movement, it bleeds bright red and it is very painful only when I have a bowel movement.

I saw a doctor a month ago and the doc gave me stool softeners. I’m eating more fiber and sit baths (not that often). What else can I do about this, so that it goes away??

Thanks!

  2. 1. Alter your diet

In order to get rid of your hemorrhoids naturally, changes to your diet will need to made. Processed foods should be avoided as they can cause digestive problems resulting in harder stool. To soften your stool and improve your digestive system, be sure to eat foods such as fruits, vegetables and whole grains as they contain high amounts of fiber. Soak 3-4 figs in a glass of water. Stay it overnight and ingest the figs on an empty stomach in the morning.

  3. hi, there are some "bonus tips" to take care of your hemorrhoid. you can try do sitz baths with lukewarm water several times daily for about 10-15 minutes. After the bath tub sitting, the affected area should be dried gently with a clean towel in order to remove wetness from the area. When the affected area is left wet, this would cause an adverse effect - the hemorrhoids would get enlarged and more painful.

2nd you also can use Ice packs applied and withdrawn carefully reduce pain and swelling.

3rd Application of hemorroidal suppositories alleviates discomfort and pain significantly.

4th Wearing loose underwear is a must. The fabric of the garments should be of natural origin, preferably cotton or silk.

5th you can use hemorroidal products such as Zenmed or venapro to relieve and ease the pain.

  4. A hemorrhoid is a varicose vein of the rectum, it will not go away. You can reduce flare ups by eating fiber, drinking lots of water, using stool softeners and not straining or doing a lot of heavy lifting. The only way to get rid of them is by having them removed. If a clot forms in there is will be a thrombosed hemorrhoid which is very painful and definitely require medical intervention.

  5. Keep on with the fiber.
Also try hemroid cream. You can also lube your finger after a bowel movement and push it back up inside you.

Too many sit bathes with cause vaginal dryness. so be careful of that.

  7. a cloes relative of mine had EXACTLY the same problem as u, she had an operation to remove it because it was so painful.

she recovered from the operation very fast (1 month).

It’s a very cheap, quick operation.

    consult a surgeon/ doctor.

surgery, honestly, is the best option.

  9. The best way is to keep it from getting irritated or pinched.
What you have been doing sounds about right but try the following:
-Daily Fiber, but don’t overdo it. You want what comes out to be soft and loose.
-Don’t push. It may take longer, but really just try to relax and let it "fall" out.
-Try not to move around too much when you are sitting. Whatever you can realistically do to keep things from rubbing together back there.
-Keep it slippery, and don’t clench. To heal completely they should really slide back up in there, rather than be pinched by a tightly closed sphincter. Sits baths, and creams both lubricate and numb.
-When its slippery, you can try gently pushing it back up in there if it doesn’t hurt to much, or otherwise making your sphincter a little loose so it can slide back up.
-Try heat and or cold compresses. Heat will relax and increase blood flow, and may you relax so it isn’t pinched so much. Cold will numb the pain and help reduce swelling.

    Good Luck
