hemorrhoid ointment cream on the butt crack to help reduce odor. Thanks for any advice that you may have.
I was also thinking that a cause of body odor from the area where hemorrhoids are located is because of constipation.
Hygiene is not a problem. I take showers regularly.

Hemorrhoids don’t cause odors.A hemorrhoid is really a swollen/enlarged vein so as you say you shower regularly so no odor problems there.
Constipation is more than likely caused by eating the wrong things (fast food diet) insufficient intake of water,and do not drink loads of water at one go spread your water consumption out over the day.
Another reason of constipation and hemorrhoids is lack of exercise.
Go for a 30-45 minute quick walk every day especially if your job involves lots of sitting down.
Fast food really does you and your body no good,there is nothing wrong with once a week hitting the fast food places,but you should include lots of fiber and fresh fruit in your diet.

Wash your hemmorhoids with soap so there is no leftover poop on them. Especially if they are hanging out of your butt. That will help your odor problem. Good luck.

I don’t think hemorrhoid is a reason for body odor. Personal hygiene is very important especially if you are suffering from hemorrhoid. For the ointment, it is not for the purpose of reducing body odor but it is for the hemorrhoid problem.
