If I have bright red blood from rectum and it stops immediately, could that not be just hemorrhoids?
Sometimes stool get stuck in the rectum and I have to keep trying to push it out, thus causing strain on the inner veins. But I don’t see anything that looks black.
Does that always mean it could be the start of cancer?

Yes to the first question. You really need more fiber or a stool softener so that you are not straining so much (it is not good for you).
No to the second question.

what’s causing you to bleed a little is when you strain you probably tore one of your hemorrhoids a little bit and that’s what was bleeding.
You have to be very careful straining a lot while having a bowel movement you could cause bad damage to your hemorrhoids.
Try eating more fiber that will help and drink aloe vera water that helps tremendously.

It could be case of Hemorrhoids, which are also called piles. Hemorrhoids are basically mass of swollen veins inside the rectum or bulge outside the anus. Both kinds can become itchy and painful, and they can also bleed.

I would suggest that you consult your doctor.
