I’m 3 months pregnant with twins and I have really bad hemorrhoids is this normal?
I’m also very constipated I would go to a Doctor, but I just applied for medicaid and have to wait about a month. Also if you had hemorrhoids how did you ease the pain? Thanks

you can get home treatment for this from a chemist! just ask there is it is suitable to use during pregnancy!

Hemroids are the worst – I had them and they are completely normal and expected during pregnancy! I took the over-the-counter stool softener (not a laxative) called Ducloax – it is safe to take during pregnancy and it helped a ton! Also, drink plenty of water…

Aww, Congrats! I had my twins 4.5 years ago so I do know a bit about this. It is very normal to have hemrroids doing pregnancy. Try eating more veggies or foods that actually help you need to go. You can also call the dr you plan to go to and ask the nurse questions. Now for the hemmaroids… you can use over the counter meds… they even have cool wipes to help… also, sit in a luke warm bath… remember, being pregnant, you dont want the water HOT.
Its hard being pregnant in the summer time, especially with twins.. always dress lightly because you’ll tend to get hot quickly. You may not feel them move as much as you would if there was only one in there but you will feel them. Try to rest as much as possible because you dont want them coming out to early. My twins were 6 weeks early and had to stay in the hospital for 12/13 days… it was heart breaking leaving them there….. So REST REST REST
Best of luck to you.

It is very normal, there are creams to help with the itch and swelling at your local drug store. Tucks pads help alot to, use them to clean yourself and then tuck a clean one into your bottom, they take a lot of the sting out of homorrhoids.

I had them very bad towards the end of both prenancies and after birth. Sitz baths worked well for me and eat plenty of oatmeal as ANY amount of straining will aggravate the situation. The nurse in the delivery room said that I had the worst case she’d ever seen…and occasionally I still have them. Also you should consider wet toilet paper like Charmin wipes to use after the "roids" calm down a bit. Tucks makes good wipes too for use up to and after delivery. Might want to consider getting a "donut" ring cushion to sit on, this helps alleviate the pressure on your bottom.
Hope you feel better soon. I know how it feels.
