Is it a hemorrhoid or something else?

I have a white lump/bump on the rim of my rectum. I just noticed it last night so I haven’t consulted a doctor yet. It’s a little painful but not intolerable. It’s about the size of a pea. At first I thought hemorrhoid but I have never heard of one with the color white. I’m a little worried it could be colon cancer but I have not noticed any other changes. Please help with your honest opinions.

    is it possible it could be an STD? they can spread to the anal area very easily..maybe herpres or genital warts

    whatever it is, u should go to a doctor- it may be something that could be serious if u let it go too long and easily treatable now that it just appeared
