There is a difference between hemorrhoids and fissure. With hemorrhoids you might at time feel if they protrude from your rectum, they are swollen and bleed if your faeces is very hard and you have difficulties. The fissure is a sort of a tear in the rectum that heals after a day or two but tears again when you have difficult dry hard feces. You need to try and see which of the two you have, use a mirror. Try using some lubrication (glycerin cream etc) before you to to the toilet. You need to drink a lot of fluids that will make the feces softer and not tear you up. There are all kinds of medication creams for both cases. If you suffer pain and bleeding often I would suggest to go back either to the same doctor or go to another specialist to find a solution.

Pls try a gastroeneterologist or proctologist (these are drs that work with rectal problems such as in the anus) to have this checked out.
