Hemorroid ointment, such as Preparation H works the best. It can be purchased in genetic form, and isn’t costly. Vaseline applied with a q-tip is another way to soothe the pain. Here are some sites below that may help you out. Good luck and take care!

ice packs work, so does a cotton ball soaked in witch hazel.

Ice pack, witch hazel.
Push them back inside.
Do not sit on the toilet more than 5 minutes. Go in when you gotta go and don’t bring the newspaper with you just do your business quickly and get off the pot!
Drink water 8-10 glasses a day.
Eat roughage- raw or lightly steamed veggies.
Eat:
Fruit
whole grains i.e. brown rice, barley, oats, wheat
Don’t eat
pasta
cheese
junk food
processed foods of any kind.

Ouch! They can be rude, can’t they? The above answer does sound good but if you don’t have witch hazel around here’s an idea that might work for you.
I’m trying to think of how to put this in a lady like manner.lol Cornstarch, it works. Apply generously. Honey, you’re going to have to take it from there, I am not going to be able to write the directions any clearer, just can’t do it.

There is an inexpensive treatment for this condition. I have used it only twice in my life and have had years of relief in between the two applications..I am referring to more than 50 years duration. It is an otc treatment. Is a well known and advertised product.. Will ease internal or external hemorrhoids. It has an applicator to have an effect on the internal ones also.

Eat lots n lots of KaiLan vegetable, in any form of cooking, it will reduce the swell. apply some aloe cream, it helps
