Is there anything I should do about the painless hemorrhoid that I've had for 4 years?
I’m 16 and I’ve had a big bulgy one kinda hangin of the edge since I was 12. Does it sound like a hemorrhoid? It rarely bleeds and is painless, so i usuually don’t feel it. Can it harm? What should I do about it?

If it do sent bother you leave it alone! I would not recommend doing anything to it if its not bothersome. The treatment of removing it is not worth the discomfort. The old saying goes, shit or get off the pot applies here, meaning don’t sit on the toilet longer than necessary that will make it worse. Eat lots of fiber. Its not going to harm you, it’s just a varicose vein.

go and see your doctor and get it diagnosed.

You should let you doctor know about it. Tell him/her any symptoms you are having. You can bring your mom/dad/guardian with you if that will make you more comfortable. If there is an examination involved the doctor should be accompanied by a nurse or your parent/guardian. Then you can all discuss a course of treatment, or if any treatment is needed.
Usually hemmorrhoids are left alone unless they are symptomatic. Lots of times they go away on their own. Sometimes a doctor will recommend some more fiber in your diet. (mine did)!
