Is this a hemorrhoid or no?
I have this small, hard, pebble-like knot right on the inside of my anus. It is very painful and it feels like a lil marble or something. I have gotten this once before when I was a teenager and it happened on my lower anus and it left a kinda deflated flappy piece of anal skin when it finally went away. This one is on the upper portion of my anus and I just noticed it in the shower. What is it?
Some common symptoms of hemorrhoids are the following:
1. Rectal bleeding
2. Irritation
3. Bulging out of the skin (a hemorrhoid) from the rectum
4. Leakage of stool
Usually, rectal bleeding does not impose pain, all throughout the bowel movement. This is a very common symptom of hemorrhoids.
