Is this a hemorrhoid?
I am 27 and last week had the stomach flu. I had a lot of diarrhea. I noticed last night while washing a bump over the top of my rectum. It felt like a bump. When I looked in the mirror is was a raised bump and white. It has not bled and yesterday was just uncomfortable. Today it’s been itchy. It has not bled or really made bowl movements painful. I’ve never experienced this before. Is this a hemorrhoid?

It could quite possible be a hemorrhoid – most likely in its early stages.
I suggest you do the following to try to rid yourself of this hemorrhoid:
•Ensure your stools are soft so they can pass without aggravating the hemorrhoids – do this by increase your fiber intake.
•Drink lots of water – especially as you begin to ramp up your fiber intake.
•If it’s not too painful walk for 15 mins/day to keep your metabolism in good shape.
