pls help me. i just want to ask , how long does it take to heal a hemorrhoid?
coz i have been suffering from it for i month now.

It depends on how bad the hemorrhoid is.
If you have bleeding and/or pain with your bowel movements, see your doctor.
Some of them do not "heal". But they can stop causing pain after a while.

It depends if the hemorrhoid is internal or external and if there is blood supply going to the hemorrhoid, not to mention what caused it in the first place.
Hemorrhoids can actually be things called fissures which are extremely painful and bleed a great deal (like a rush of blood) when you have a bowel movement. If this is happening to you, see a doctor ASAP.
Hemorrhoids can also grow when you have an internal blockage that you may not know is there right now, but the hemorrhoid is a side effect of that blockage growing. Since you’ve had the hemorrhoid for a month, it’s not going, and I’m sure you’ve tried creams, then I’d say it’s time to see a doctor.
It’s best to get a referral to a urologist as they are a specialist in this area and can do a quick test (not the nicest thing I know) to make sure you don’t have anything going on inside also. It’s quick but worth it to make sure you don’t have anything else going on that needs to be looked at, such as colon cancer. Yes it can be that severe. Even a blockage can be caused from all sorts of horrid things, so please, see a doctor.
Another rare thing that can happen is that the blood flow which usually allows the hemorrhoid to heal itself isn’t getting to their, and the sphincter has to have a little surgical procedure. I had this problem… it wasn’t much fun for about 6 weeks after, but it did fix the problem. Never had a problem since!!
At this point, I really urge you to see a specialist as all kinds of things cause hemorrhoids and I would hate for you to get severely ill because you were worried about your dignity. I know it’s so very personal and we don’t want to see a doctor about these things, but in this case, it’s your best option.
