post hemorrhoid rubber band ligation activities?
i had my hemorrhoid rubber band ligation 3 days ago. im a healthy teenager, Doctors told me to take it easy after the procedure but i feel good, better without the hemorrhoid, i was wondering if i could continue activites such as basketball, running ..etc..if not now, any time soon?

Definitely you can’t do those strenuous activities this early. Be patient till you fully recover. Heavy activity may just complicate your post operation. Though mild exercises are advised to hasten recovery. Check with your physician as to when you can perform such sports. A friend of mine underwent same procedure and he was able to get back to his usual routine in 3 weeks time..maybe you can too.

No heavy lifting or strenuous activity for 4-5 days is the usual post procedure rule. You want to give it time to heal, and not bleed.

give it 3 to 4 weeks, but be careful since strenuous activities may still have an impact regardless of you have recovered fully.
