pregnant with hemorrhoids..looking for fast relief?
I am 37 weeks pregnant. Last weekend the baby was really low causing a lot of pressure and now I have hemorrhoids. I need fast relief. I spent all day yesterday and so far all of today using preparation h suppositories and cream and wiping with witch hazel pads and mostly just laying around on my left side, but they don’t seem to be shrinking and are quite painful. Anybody know of any remedies that work? I don’t need to know what causes them or how to prevent them ….I need relief before I go into labor and have even more pressure to add to the trouble.

i tried the witch hazel pads and they stung really bad so i resorted to a cold damp washcloth. it may sound silly, but i just folded it and placed it in my bum while i was laying down– the cool pressure felt so nice and helped shrink them down– it’s the same concept as a cold compress, but more comfortable.
they take awhile to go away, but the rag helped a lot.

you can try a bath that is a little warmer than usual and while you are in there try massaging them back in. I know that it sounds gross, but it does work. It doesn’t work instantly, but… remember to stay hydrated too. something else is that you could talk to a chiropractor because they have techniques than help with circulation and help relieve them long term… Isn’t pregnancy great! I have 2 working on my third and NEVER had hemorroids with the first two… love it! Good luck to you…

Preparation H or plain witch hazel work wonders! It will burn, but it really helps.

I got rid of my hemorrhoids with Rue Care Oil. Prep H didn’t help, also not suppositories. It’s only available online, but it’s worth to wait for it.
