Serious answers only… hemorrhoid poped while using the bathroom, wont stop bleeding?

I developed a hemorrhoid about 4 days ago.

About 1-2 hours ago, I sat on the toilet to use the restroom, & I felt my hemorrhoid pop.

It’s been bleeding ever since & now I’m getting paranoid because I have no health insurance & I’m thinking I’m losing too much blood or something. :(

Is it common for it to bleed this long? How can I stop the bleeding?

I agree with the ice and pressure. If you had gone to the doctor with a hemorrhoid that was outside of your rectum, he would have lanced it to relieve the pressure in the area and it would be bleeding just like it is now. Stay off of your feet and ice the area. Stop taking any meds that thin your blood like aspirin or ibuprophen. It will stop soon. If not, you’re going to have to see a doctor. Godloveya.
