Should I push my hemorrhoid back into my butt?

I push my hemorrhoid back into my butt every time I poop and I poop every 2 days. I’ve had it for about a month and I’m 11 years old. I’m too embarassed to tell my parents to go to the doctors about it. What should I do?

Keep your butt clean and get some wipes especially for hemorrhoids. (They contain Witch Hazel) You need to wash your fingers really well also. You can get them infected if you have dirty hands. I would suggest just printing this out and showing it to your mom or dad and you don’t have to speak to them. Choke down your embarrassment and get some help. Very important.

You can push them back in, if that helps alleviate the discomfort. That’s what I do, but that’s mostly just a temporary fix for something that isn’t going to go away on its own. Just tell your parents (or, like the first post, just print this out or write them a little message and say you don’t really want to talk about it that much but you do want to get something for it). Your mom probably got hemorrhoids when she had you…I promise, parents deal with much more terrible things than dumb little hemorrhoids. If you tell your parents, you can actually make the problem go away instead of using a temporary solution. In the meantime, use really hot washcloths to clean it off and push it back in. Good luck, they’re horrible – I know!
