What happens if you leave Hemorrhoids untreated for a long time?
I think i have it, i don’t know.
Ive been bleeding when i poo since yesterday, just little amounts, im a bit worried.

If the lesion is not protruding from the rectum, really should be seen by a physician to rule out something more serious. Leaving rectal bleeding untreated is not a good idea at all.
They can get worse and so big you will need to have them surgically removed (cut out).
I went through this and it is not fun. Get it taken care of now by seeing a doctor; especially a Proctologist.
If left untreated, they most assuredly get worse. They prolapse (fall out of the rectum) and bleed painfully until healed. Lancing is the ultimate (sliced by an M.D.) allopathic treatment. You reeallly don’t want to go there.
Chances are, they are bleeding hemorrhoids. I’ve had them off and on for over 20 years. All of this helps: To stop the bleeding, oral and/or topical vitamin K. To calm inflammation: cool aloe vera gel. To control hemorrhoids from the inside out: oral bilberry, horse chesnut, alpha lipoic acid and butcher’s broom. (Check out Michael Murray, N.D.’s site. He has many more recommendations.) Avoid: Popcorn, cold dry food, sitting on cold surfaces for prolonged periods, straining on the stool. A stool softener is a MUST. Hope this helps.
