A rectal prolapse is when part of your rectum literally drops out…
Rectal prolapse occurs when a mucosal or full-thickness layer of rectal tissue slides through the anal orifice. Problems with fecal incontinence, constipation, and rectal ulceration are common.
A precise definition of hemorrhoids does not exist, but they can be described as masses or clumps (“cushions”) of tissue within the anal canal that contain blood vessels and their surrounding, supporting tissue made up of muscle and elastic fibers.
Although most people think hemorrhoids are abnormal, they are present in everyone. It is only when the hemorrhoidal cushions enlarge that hemorrhoids can cause problems and be considered abnormal or a disease.

Rectal prolapse causes the rectum to turn inside out, so that the rectal lining is visible as a dark red, moist fingerlike projection from the anus.

Hemorrhoids or what is commonly called piles. Hemorrhoids are also a form a what is varicose vein problem.
These veins around the anus and the rectum get swollen and inflamed. They can be deep inside or sometimes can be closer to anus and may come through outside….and look like prolapse. But the symptoms are different like bright red blood covering the stool, on toilet paper or in the toilet bowl. Symptoms usually go away within a few days.
Hemarrhoids are cause more due to straining to have a bowel movement.

Are you sure it’s the rectum, Usually, it’s the uterus falling through the vagina. It’s something to be taken care of now. I say this because you can pass out and not make it to the hospital. Use your head now, don’t just sit on it. It’s serious, but very curable. Thank you for asking.
