What kind of doctor specializes in hemorrhoids?
No jokes, please… this is a serious question…
Even though I’m relatively young (25) and have not had babies yet, I’ve been having a problem with hemorrhoids for years. Recently the problem seems to have gotten worse; it’s now hard to go to the bathroom without some discomfort, and yesterday I saw some blood for the first time in a while.
My gynecologist said that there’s nothing anyone could do for the hemorrhoids, that even if I got them removed they would grow back. He said the best thing to do would be to wait till I’m finished having babies (because being pregnant will make them worse), then try getting them removed. But who knows when I’ll be finished having babies… in the meantime, I don’t want to be uncomfortable for another 10+ years!
What kind of doctor should I see for this problem? A general practitioner? Or a specialist? If a specialist, what kind?
Thank you!

Here is a remedi from my grandmother and it sure works
you take fresh garlic and you peel it then crush it,,put some in a gauze sheet and insert in your anus not to far,,then wait,it will burn,,wait until you cannot stand it..remove it,,,try it again for about one week, the garlic will burn the hemorrhoid.
it is not expensive and it works,,,dont over do it,, by leavin it to long,,about 5 minutes then start again another day
they will be gone forever…the natural way is the best way and it works.

Well your regular doctor could see and treat you for hemorrhoids, if they think they need to be treated by a specialist then they will send you to a proctologist. If you are "pushing" hard with a bowel movement and straining hard then try taking something like Correctol for woman and tucks wipes (should have a numbing agent in it). You having them now, then yes you could get them again when you have children. If they are bothering you now, causing you problems and discomfort. Don’t wait, try taking over the counter meds or go to the doctors.
Best of luck, hope you feel better.
