    You know, of course, that there is a great fallacy in your question:

    There is no particular entity (an "it" as you say) that is alternately called an asteroid or a hemorrhoid, according to its geographic location.

    In fact, asteroids and hemorrhoids are two entirely distinct realities.
    Since they are, in fact, two entirely different entities, it is fitting that they have distinct names.
