Why does some medications cause hemorrhoids?
I assume there is a chemical in medication.Even like ibuprofen or acetaminophen causes this problem.Is there a way to counteract this problem?many people have to take medicine.Is the chemical also in over the counter vitamins?

the only thing i can think of is that certain medications can make you constipated
and when you’re constipated you tend to push really hard, which is what causes hemorrhoids – excessive pushing and straining
i really didnt know the chemicals could cause it, ive been known to down a lot of motrin, but nothings happened to me yet

Yes, you have to take medicines and medicines have side effect- the plain truth. But i think it will be wise to talk to your doctor freely. You should discuss all the diseases or the symptoms of the diseases you have with your doctor so that he /she might not prescribe the medicine that would cause harm to you.
i do not know who on earth had got hemorrhoids as a side effect of ibuprofen or acetaminophen!
better you should consider other things eg- low fiber, less water which might have been a more direct cause of your hemorrhoids.
