Will my hemorrhoid resolve itself?
I am 16 and a cross country runner, and I have a hemorrhoid, and it is very painful.
It hurts mostly when I walk, but when I start running the pain sort of goes away but it still bothers me.
I am currently using Preparation H (been using it for about a day now), and it does reduce the size of my external hemorrhoid, but I still have a little pain.
Will it eventually go away if I keep the area clean? And will sweat effect the hemorrhoid because in cross country I get very sweaty.

you should go to the doctor. he can make them disapear without a painful operation, it just takes 5 minutes. my husband had it done once, and it is better than leaving them.

It has to do with straining. Preparation H will only shrink them. Hot baths help. I mean HOT BATHS, your straining in some way , whether it be because of a bowel movement, too much or being constipated or reading while going to the bathroom will aggravate it.
When I had them, I would take hot baths, and take it easy. I haven’t had any problems for a while, once in a while a flare up , but I don’t use anything but a hot bath to get rid of them to be honest.
